All Island Fence and Railings have implemented new guidelines as directed by New York State Department of Health for the safety of all employees and customers. Employees must adhere to the following:

A. Physical Distancing

•Employees will maintain 6 feet distance within workspaces and throughout the workplace where allowable.
•Any in person meetings will be held in an open space to maintain social distancing of 6’.
•No more than 2 customers allowed in the showroom at one time and customers must maintain social distancing of 6’ as indicated by floor markers.

B. Protective Equipment

•The company will provide all onsite employees with face masks at no cost to the employee.
•Face masks must be worn at all times when leaving your desk/work area.
•Face masks must be cleaned or replaced when damaged or soiled, they may not be shared and must be properly discarded.
•Employees must ensure that customers are wearing face coverings during interaction. You must direct them to cover their mouth/nose or come back at another time.
•Wear gloves if necessary to share office items/office equipment or wash and sanitize hands before and after contact of any shareable items or when in any commonly shared areas.

C. Hygiene and Cleaning

•Wash hands for at least 20 seconds and sanitize hands often.
•Clean all personal space areas and items at the end of every shift, i.e. phone, computer keyboard, desk, etc.
•Clean all common areas after each use.
•Clean front counter, front door handle inside and out, computer keyboard and credit card machine after each customer use.

D. Screening

•Employees must NOT come to work if feeling sick or have any symptoms of COVID-19.
•Employees must notify their manager or Peggy if they have tested positive for COVID-19 immediately.
•Employees must notify their manager or Peggy if they have been in contact with any person who has tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 14 days.
•All Island Fence and Railing must notify all employees if any employee has tested positive for COVID-19 within 24 hours of said notification.
•All Island Fence and Railing will clean and disinfect all work areas of a known positive case within an appropriate amount of time as set by the CDC.
